What is intrauterine pregnancy?

Intrauterine pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurs inside the womb. The fertilized egg is implanted on the inner wall of the uterus. This condition can be referred to as normal pregnancy. If the egg is implanted anywhere outside the womb, as in the fallopian pipe or elsewhere, it is called ectopic pregnancy. Fetal gestations in intrauterine pregnancy usually last 38 to 42 weeks, with an average of 40 weeks. The ultrasonic test can usually confirm intrauterine pregnancy and determine how far pregnancy has progressed. Pregnancy is divided into three trimesters - the first is from conception to 12 weeks, the second from 13 to 28 weeks and the third from 29 weeks to birth. This placental bag is attached to the embryo by umbilical cord, brings nutrition from the mother and carries waste products from the embryo. After reaching the second trimester, the embryo is usually referred to as a fetus.

During intrauterine pregnancy, the female body undergoes many changes. For example, the shift of hormonal production and balance-altogether is produced more estrogen during one pregnancy than during the whole pregnancy of a woman. During the second trimester, the mother's heart must pump more blood to ensure the fetus. As a result, the mother's heart works 30 to 50 percent harder and by the end of pregnancy the fetus receives about one fifth of the total blood supply. Women's internal organs often move to suit the ever -growing uterus because they take up more space in the body cavity.

Every change in the mother and fetus connects and prepares them for the eventual birth process. During vaginal birth, a female cervix or entry into the birth canal increases. The fetus usually changes the position, with the head towards the birth canal and the uterine muscle contraction and release, pushing the child towards the channel and out. When caesarean birth is carried out, the female abdomen is cut and the child rises from the body. In both casesH is cut with an umbilical cord and the placenta is removed from the mother.
