What is a divine helmet?
The Koren helmet, more known as the God helmet, is a device worn on the head and uses magnetic fields to stimulate the brain lobes. Stanley Koren was built under the leadership of Dr. Michael Persinger of Laurentian University in Ontario, Canada. People who wear a divine helmet during experiments often state that they have a vague presence in the room and some report more lively and deeper feelings and visions. The facility raised several interesting questions about the nature of religious and mystical experiences.
The four coil series is mounted on each side of the God helmet, which was originally built into a snowmobile helmet, but later became a device that could be bound to the head without a actual helmet. Signals powered from a computer via a digital and analog converter (DAC), commonly referred to as a black box, activate these coils behind and create complex magnetic signals for brain stimulation temporary lobes. Originally, another set of coils on the top ofEven helmets, but were not used in later versions. Complicated magnetic signals have an irregular shape and a computer is used to control this shape. Computer software for helmet God was created by Koren.
Experiments using the helmet of God are carried out in a soundproof acoustic chamber. Temporary lobes that are active during religious or mystical experiences are also responsible for monitoring the surrounding sound. The GOD helmet results are dramatically improving in a quiet environment.
Test entities are often moved by experience of wearing a helmet. Eighty percent of the participants said they would sense a vague presence and 1 percent reported that they would sense God. There are several questions about whether the participants would freely admit that they will sense God in a laboratory environment. Another mystic or religious experience of the NCE that has been reported belongs to the sensing or vision of ghosts, angels, demons, deadh relatives and other mystical visions, including outside the body.
Some test entities have not experienced any presence. Richard Dawkins, author and open critic of religion, felt nothing but dizziness and some twitching in his feet when he wore a helmet of God. Dr. Persinger said he believed that some people are genetically prone to experiencing these feelings.
epilepsy affecting time lobes is known to cause hallucinations with mystical or supernatural elements, which is a phenomenon that has influenced research by Dr. Persinger. It seems that a religious background also has an impact on any feelings, because most of those who report that they sense God were Roman Catholic. These tests raise a number of questions about religion, religious experiences and people who have these visions.
