What is a noob?
NOOB is an alternative spelling "newcomers", which concerns inexperienced persons, especially in the game community, but also in other online places. Noob can be used by friendly, teasing, such as an experienced player who said to the other, "You played it like a noob," or a derogatory way as a general insult. Other spelling variations include "Newb", "N00B" (using zeros) and "NUB". In general, the further the spelling variations are from the "noob", the greater the intended insult.
The easiest way to see a noob is a lack of skills or unknown with space protocols. Each online arena has its own Netiquette, whether it is an Internet relay Chat (IRC), USENET Newsgroups, World Wide Web (WWW), a virtual world like Second Life, or a competing playroom. General rules or instructions make the arena more fun for everyone and helplessly break that they are called noob or be flame (verbally attacked).

NOOB can find new -book groups in the usenet and web forums generally have terms and use of principles that are enough. Although we thought Noob, as the online, US military used the term "newcomer" during the Vietnam War (1959-1975) to refer to the newly coming soldiers in the field. Another military term "unused body (N.U.B.)" referred to submarine sailors who have not yet gained sufficient experience to be particularly useful in crisis.
