What is the center breakup?
Medium breakup, also sometimes known as a fish meter, is a tool used to machine to check the tool angle used to cut the screw threads. It is a small, flat hand object made of metal, about 2 1/4 inches with 3/4 inches (approximately 57 to 19 millimeters) size. Triangular notches are cut into metal at precise dimensions and angles, and these notches are used as templates for shaping the machine tool bits. In order to function properly, the screw threads must be cut at a precise and uniform angle. The center breakup helps to ensure that the tool bit is the correct dimensions for cutting these fibers. They work by turning the work object - in this case a metal cylinder, which becomes a screw - over the instrument point. When the cylinder rotates through the bit, the sharp edge of the bit cut into the metal and creates a score on the metal surface. The spiral pattern is Formad to proceed in one direction through a bit when it rotates.
The spiral cut, which is created in this process, forms a screw fiber. The fibers allow screws to grasp the surrounding material or be screwed into other threaded parts. It is important that the fiber is evenly cut and accurate dimensions to make the screw function properly. For this purpose, the tool bit must be used to cut the fiber specific.
The point of the pages of the pointed bits of the tool used to cut the screw threads must correspond to the angle of the desired fiber. This angle is determined by the center meter. When the bit is originally grounded into the shape, it is created according to graded notches in the center meter, which are cut at specific angles. The medium breakup will often include two or more notches of different dimensions as a guide for different bits.
In the production of the industrial screw on an electronic scale, automation takes care of thread angles and the use of a center breakup is generally not necessary. This tool is most commonly used by domestic sTroja and other workers who hand -crush the tools. The center meters can be purchased from manufacturers who offer other special tools for the machine. They are available on different gradations for different fiber measurements.
