What is the feed?

screw screw is part of certain types of industrial apparatus, which is designed to move or feed the materials using a tube. Usually, the power screw is a metal cylinder with a wound plane wrapped around its outer, reminiscent of a long screw or snail. The group is placed in a tube where various materials flow from the hopper or slip. As the material from the hopper flows into the tube, the feed rotates and the material pushes along the entire length of the tube where it will be used. The feed screws are commonly used in the plastic and food industry to move, mix and the product.

In the PlasticS industry, the feed screws are the heart of the extruders used in pressing, injection, injection, sheet extrusion and profile displacement. In these cases, the tube that surrounds the screw is heated to the point of melting the plastic resin. When the screw moves the material on the tube, called the barrel, the material melts and mixes together. For some bolts along the screw, the fiber pitch changes, which allows,In order to allow the material to flow and cause the material to create pressure. Once the material reaches the end of the screw, it is extruded either by the matrix, forms the molten plastic resin to the desired shape or profile or into a mold where it is cooled into the desired shape.

In the food industry, the compound screws are used essentially as in the plastic industry. The primary difference is that instead of melting the material, the food is cooked as it passes along the feed screw and at the end it is formed to the desired shape. Instead of applying direct heat, some types of food processing equipment use pressure to generate the heat needed to cook the food product.

The feed screws are only useful for pushing out the products. They are also often used for mixing in many industries of various raw materials for the final product. In this type of application there will be a number of feed screws to gatherrye into a field where each screw brings a separate component to the hopper, basket or other container. As each screw feed the material into a container at a specific speed, a very accurate and different amount of material can be issued as needed. For example, if three bolts of the same size are served and one screw is rotated at 5 revolutions per minute (RPM), another at 20 rpm and the final screw at 25 rpm, the final composite will consist of 10% of the first material, 40% second and 50% of the third.
