What is the Ribbon Mixer?

Ribbon blender is used in production and industrial applications. Stuber blends are also sometimes called a mixture of belts. They are usually used when one of the mixed items has many particles and it is important that all ingredients are mixed evenly. The blender has a central shaft with mixing blades in various ways that look like ribbons wrapped around the shaft, and is able to move parts of the mixture in different directions simultaneously, ensuring that all ingredients are mixed. It can usually be used for the production of food or medicine. The shaft with attached blades is located inside the container. The mixer blades look like two metal ribbons winding around the shaft in a double helix structure. It looks very similar to illustration of DNA chain. The ribbon blender can have a horizontal structure where the shaft and the blade are sideways in the container, or the shaft and the blade can be vertical.

Ribbon blender usually works very slowly and requires a lot of energy. The blender makes very thorough mixing of ingredients together. The blade is created and tilted in a way that allows the mixture to move with two directions at a time. The mixture in the outer part of the container usually moves in one direction, while the mixture near the center of the container moves in the opposite direction. The shape of the mixer also ensures that they do not leave any components at the bottom of the container and that all parts of the mixture are evenly mixed with the same additive ratio.

The use of a belt blender is not recommended for mixtures that have a sticky final product, because the unique blade design makes it difficult to clean sticky fabrics. However, the belt mixors are the ideal choice for many other applications. They can be used for wet or dry mixtures and mix the ingredients evenly, yet gently. Several examples of dry mixtures are fine gravels, powders, pets for pets or agriculture, cereals, refreshment mixes and certain medicines. LimitEven examples of wet or humid mixtures include many types of dough used in commercial bakeries, as well as resin and plaster used for production materials.
