What is a tilted plane?
The
tilted plane is one of the six simple machines defined by early scientists who are used with reference to physics or mechanics. Five are levers, pulleys, screws, wedges and wheels and axles. These simple machines have been designed to increase or redirect strength to maximize the amount of work they can achieve. Simply put, the inclined plane is an object that has a flat surface and is tilted at a fixed angle. Without a plane, moving the object vertically requires much more strength.
