What is the heat treatment?
The process of changing the physical, chemical and mechanical properties of metal by using controlled heating and cooling is called heat treatment. This is a procedure used to improve or restore a production product. Heat treatment is most commonly used in metallurgy, production, formation of hot pulse and welding. The methodology includes heating materials for severe temperatures to increase internal stress. Subsequently, cooling is performed at an extremely low temperature, a process that is also known as extinction. This strengthens the internal structure of the grid. It also brings folds in grains that have increased tensile strength. Softening reduces the hardness of the material and improves the ductility and resistance. It causes toughness and also the impvelikost of the grain. This is more often known as annealing or normalization. It is usually performed to restore the ductility and release of metal stresses in the material. Later techniques include temperament and extinction that solidify and quickly cool the materials.
Kalit is mostly carried out on steel to increase its properties and tears. A sufficient carbon and alloy content is required to perform the hardening process. If it is present in appropriate quantities, the steel is directly cured. However, if the carbon is not sufficient, the carbon enrichment method can be used, which increases carbon carbon rations in the carbon steel components.
Selective hardening is a change in the process of hardening, where different areas are subjected to different temperatures. It is also known as differential hardening. It is usually applied to the production of instryments such as swords, knives and pliers. Material modification is a heat treatment methodology that modifies the behavior of the material. Mostly applied to steel is used to increase aging and serving life as well as forces and reliability.
The heat treatment is most often applied to the ingredients of large carbon steel. The steel responds well to the heat treatment due to its extreme administration and an increase in commercial effectOnce after application of heat treatment. As a result, the heat treatment of steel heat is a widely popular process in the metallurgical industry. In addition to steel, aluminum is another metal on which the heat treatment is extremely applied. Unlike steel, the heat treatment of aluminum is performed in specially designed furnaces under extremely controlled thermal conditions.
