What is the acupuncture of fertility?

Acupuncture is an ancient form of healing that will apply for a holistic approach to wellness. Its application is aimed at improving or restoring the energy of the life force that controls the body and mind, also known as Qi (“chi”). By targeting and manipulating meridian points in the body that directs this power, the practitioner can affect the performance and functioning of various organs or body systems. The acupuncture of fertility focuses on points that are synchronized with areas that can inhibit fertility such as thyroid. In fact, in many cases the primary objective of fertility acupuncture is to remedy any imbalances that can promote hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, one of which can affect fertility.
