What is in music, what is Motown?
Motown Music is a musical genre that mixes the sounds of rhythm and blues (R&B) and pop music styles. It is played with a number of musical instruments, from electric to acoustics. Although Motown uses various tools, some of the most common sounds come from drum tools and distinctive vocals.
Although the unique sound that is Motown has been influenced by R&B and POP, the vocals are closely competing with those found in Evangelical music. Such strong vocals and a clear sound of mixed sound of tambourine, drums and bass guitars make it a familiar style of music.
The term was created to pay credit instead of the origin of the music style. Detroit, who is also known as the City engine, was the first official home of this sound. The musical form, which exploded in Michigan, quickly retreated with the recording company in 1959. The label no longer calls Detroit, engine City, Home. Together with the parent company MCA, it is now located in Los Angeles, California.
