What is Oroblanco?
Oroblanco ( citrus paradisi × c. Maxima ) is a cross between white grapefruit and pomelo. This hybrid was developed and patented in 1958 by the University of California in Riverside. Its bark can be bright green yellow, although fully ripe. Rinda late season Oroblancos tends to take over more gold yellow shade. Hruta Oroblanco is stronger than grapefruit and is easy to remove it.
The body of Oroblanco, stretched and consumed in sections as orange, is light yellow and almost without seeds.
