What is reading the mind?
The term reading of the mind can be used to indicate two quite heterogeneous things: the effect of mentalism and real communication between two minds. The first is a well -documented efficient art with an established history and system that is achieved. The second is parascience, and therefore the mainstream scientific community is treated with great skepticism. However, telepathy reading of the mind remains a very popular belief among many people around the world. Mentalists are performing tricks of reading mind from ancient history, with recorded shows in the 16th century. Time mentalists really thought they had telepathic skills, and in fact some may actually have Belien, that they had these forces, but many modern mentalists, if pressed, acknowledges that what they do is a mental performance, and not a real parapsychological phenomenon.
Mentalists can perform all sorts of tricks reading mind to show that they are able to readmind. One of the most famous of them is known as a book test. In the book test, the book is accidentally accepted and given to a member of the audience. The member is then asked to open the book on a random page and choose a random word. It seems that the mentalist read the mind of a member of the audience by saying the word they chose. Although it seems that the effects like this seem to be clearly cut cases of reading the mind, in fact, the result of a relatively decorated system of reading techniques that have been codified in mental structures in recent years.
While mentalism is one of the areas of reading the mind, real telepathy is completely different. It is a debate whether telepathy really exists, without strong scientific tests that confirm its existence and largely unofficial evidence that supports it. However, many people still believe in telepathy and many people say they can suppress telepathically. In fact, most Americans aim to experience telepathy on some occasion, often in the form of knowing cSomeone tells exactly or does before it happens. Skeptics would probably attribute this to the detection of fine stimuli or environmental stimulus that creates a shared reaction in both people.
In popular culture, reading of the mind remains a constant source of interesting stories and characters. Super heroes, sci -fi and characters in popular movies and video games often used reading the mind as a special power. From the Jedi in the films Star Wars , to the witch of Grayskall Castle, after Lwaxan Troi on Star Trek , Dr. Tachyon from the books Wild Card , interesting characters are often given by telepathy that help them separate. Transhumanists who believe that humanity eventually evolves with its own design around the contemporary species, often suggests a form of artificial telepathy, which will be added to people in some way, either through bioxide or technological hardware.
