What are sauropods?
Sauropods are subordinate to Saurischia ("lizard-hipped"), one of two categories of dinosaur, the other is Ornithischia ("bird"). Sauropoda is one of the two large lines of herbivorous dinosaurs next to Ornithischia, which includes duck dinosaurs, triceratops, stegosaurus and many others. The Sauropods are known for being the largest ground animals in the history of life on Earth.
Sauropods first appeared in the late Triassical period, 200 million years ago. The first sauropods were small according to Sauropod standards - 5 m (16 ft) and several meters high, weighing about a ton. Early sauropods would be roughly the size of an elephant. They would be able to avoid predation because of their total size. The Sauropods also have long, tapering tails that many paleontologists believe that they could be burst like a whip and produced sound booms as loudly as 200 decibels. Computer simulations have shown that it would be easily within the thumbnitude of the animal. There are also a napRoman evidence, fossils of sauropods with fused or broken tail vertebrate.
listened to Jurassic, 150 million years ago, with Sauropods expanded to every continent where their fossils can still be found today. Sauropods have grown to huge size since their development very soon. Some of the largest known are brachiosaurus, which have been for many decades to be the largest dinosaur; Supersaurus, the longest proven dinosaur at 40 m (130 ft) in length; Diplodocus, one of the most famous sauropods; and sauroposeidone with the longest neck from any known creature in 18 m (60 ft). There are some fragmentary evidence - literally only sketches, as the only fossil breaks up in front of the dust before a century - for rivalry of a blue whale size or amphicoelias fragillimus, which would be 40-60 meters (131-196 ft) and weighed and weighed 120 tons.
Sauropods had teeth similar to a peg thathave been modified to remove leaves from trees. They did not use them for chewing, but rather had many large stones in the stomachs called Gastroit, which silence the puff mass and helped spend it. The Sauropods were an extremely successful subordinate because they were able to achieve high -end leaves that no other type of dinosaur would be close to reaching.
